when i was in the 8th grade, my girlfriend forced me onto a bed and tried to have sex with me. i did not want to because i knew it would make her pregnant. now i have a distorted view on sex and relationships. can someone please help me? how bad should i (19 year old male) want sex? cuz i dont really want to have sex and i feel like im ridiculous!

Some counseling would really help. I kind of suspect that you had a distorted view before that, because you were already afraid of getting her pregnant (a realistic fear, btw). Some people have lower sex drives than others, but some counseling will help you sort it all out. You're young, counseling won't take as long as when you're older, if you go now.

Being raped or almost raped makes it hard to be alright with the concept of sex because it puts a bad association with it. So considering it's quite understandable why you wouldn't want to have it. When you care about someone enough you'll be able to get over this if you should so wish.

dont worry, you aint the only one. someone who i thought was my mate spiked my drink and raped me, so i wont have sex with anyone now. there is a sexual orientation where you just dont feel like sex or sexually attracted to anyone, its called 'Asexual' and 1% of the population is asexual. look it up, it might help. sorry i cant be of more assistance. but bear in mind that you are a soul, not a body, your body is just a vehicle kinda like a car so your soul and function on this planet, and just cos someone tried to abuse your body it dont mean it touches your soul. your perfect just the way you are and no one can ever change that xxx

Men do get raped. For men (and sometimes women) rape is about losing power over one's choice regarding sexuality. You need a therapist. That's not an admission of failure. That means you're standing up to protect yourself and get rid of the baggage that's holding you back.

when i was a kid i went to my mum and said the world was all wrong because men can be imprisoned for rape and women can't and my mum said it's because men can't get raped by women. a man has to be horny for sex to work, doncha know. i suppose you could call it sexual harassment. personally i don't know anyone i'd like to have sex with and i keep finding myself being sexually attracted to people who just plain p**s me off.
