I am extremely shy and I don't usually get the girl she gets me is there any way I can reverse this and get in the drivers seat so that I can start making the moves?

Before anything, you need to accept yourself as a shy person. There is nothing wrong with being shy, it is who you are. After you have accepted that as a part of yourself, it will make it easier for you to find ways to come out of your shell. You can start by practicing. Note certain situations where your shyness kicks in and do something that is a little more outgoing in every situation such as saying hi first, starting the conversation first, smiling a little more, making eye contact, asking open-ended questions, answering a question with more than a sentence. Practice makes perfect!

Never be afraid to ask a girl out. The worst that can happen is that she will say no. And if you know she is the same status as you. Like preps and preps and jocs and cheerleaders she will let you down gently. As long as you stay in that circle you will never get hurt. Really things never end out the way you think they will or as bad. This is from a girls point of view.

I am not even really sure what your problem is. You're a shy guy who is getting girls pursuing him. I can understand when I shy guy who doesn't get girls complains but you're getting the girls you just want to be the who who makes the first move. Then don't be shy anymore or stop complaining cause you have nothing to complain about.

Take charge. You put out an air of insecurity and you need to change that. You need to build confidence.
