Religion WITH spirituality is what you don't see unless you look to people such as: Jesus, Buddha, Gandhi, Lao Tzu, Muhammad, etc...
Religion is a hollow shell, devoid of morals and empathy without spirituality. It is following rules without understanding the reasons for the rules. It is rigid, unable to change when civilization has evolved beyond it. It is the stubborn adherence to dogma against the evidence of reason.
