Samurai guy: just because you repeat a lie to yourself often enough so you start to believe it doesn't make it true. "most scientists no longer believe in evolution" is exactly the type of stupid lie that makes people stop respecting religious people.

No. It would still be flawed no matter how written.

I'm still trying to convert from the sundial, to the chronometer. And what's all this talk about solid, liquid, and gas? I think of things in terms of animal, vegetable and mineral. And why do scientists insist on using all those dead languages anyway? Like Greek, and Latin? Jesus didn't speak that stuff! Metric=hethern...

Just joking. I do read the KJ Bible, it does have a way with words that work well in English. It speaks to my heart. I believe Jesus was trying to speak to our hearts, hoping that our minds would follow. After all is said and done, Christianity is supposed to change our hearts, not our minds.

But, for immigrants from the south, I suspect they'll continue to enjoy their own translation of the Gospel.

How about rewriting evolution to fit the bible?
Would be a great novel to bicker over for the next 100 years.

the answer, of course, is no.

again, it's another question by a nonbeliever that seeks to ridicule those that do believe, in this case, imply that christians reading the bible would believe anything written in a similar manner. so basically you're calling us stupid in the form of a question. which isn't really the logical thing to do, is it? if you're going to call us stupid, just do it straight up...we're used to it by now.

I just had to give you a star because this question made me laugh. :)

I don't do that for most questions that try to antagonize people. But the funny ones are worth it.

Or maybe we could do away with The Bible and use Wikipedia instead? After all, if we're re-writing it so many times...

No matter how a bunch of misinformation is written, it is still misinformation. BTW, most scientist no longer beleive in evolution. They think we were created by superior beings (not necessarily the Christian God).
