You know, just kind of an unofficial visit.
God might say "Hey Mark. How's it going?"
Mark: "well, god...I'm sorta on fire right now. Have been for the past 300,000,000 years".
God: *chuckle* oh yeah, forgot about that. Well, you did decide to become a buddhist, so you were just asking for me to torture you. See ya around".

There is almost nothing in the Bible about a burning Hell. One would think that if it existed, it would have been mentioned more often.

hell is a metaphor for being seperated from the presence of God, according to most mature Christians.

perhaps you are there at this very moment, and don't know it.

I've been there, and sometimes I am there now, with doubts and fears, but when I am doing what is good and right, it is a totally different feeling. It doesn't happen often, but when it happens, you know it. Being right with yourself and God is an unmistakable sensation, and when it happens, it's really cool.

First it must be a great day when someone who identifies themselves as a BAT FILM FAN using a ridiculous masked cartoon as an image answers your question with the insight that YOU ARE TOO FAR GONE. HELLO? earth to bat advive giver? Now...
If there is really a GOD he/she surely would not have a system where ALL would not be loved and nurtured. It amazes me all of the hate and discrimination by people in the name of such a GOD.
Does anyone really think that if he actually exist, which he may, he would stand beside the haters at a antiGAY protest spot, on Gay Pride Day, carrying his own sign reading "I hate Gays, thats why I gave them Aids!"?
or using hurtful offensive language along side the good ole boys in a Texas courthouse, all the while trying to remember the dotcom address of his favorite Kill All ******* website?.
Dont think So! But sadly this Gods best, brightest and loudest, think he would. If your God is so mighty dont you think he can judge all on his own, and instead prefers you to just focus on giving out love and goodness to all you meet. ( Especially if you namedrop that you are close to him)
Wake up people! He lives if you want him to and in the best parts of everyones heart. Not religous here, but spiritual and smart enough to know that there is something bigger that I can not see and also that I am no better than anyone I can see- even if they are carrying signs of hate or laughing along in a dialogue of same. In any case,Santa is watching!

Hell is actually a metaphor for the smelly part of New Jersey, and the thing is, people don't realize they're in hell. When they try to leave, the traffic jam starts, and they go back home, still believing they have the freedom to exit. God never visits New Jersey, except for the nice part in the country.

The thing about hell is that those who have sinned in life deny God at their particular judgement have chosen to go against God. Thus, they are condemned to be without God for all of eternity. Because they have made such a decision, they will never be in the presence of God, nor will God "check in" on those who are tortured in hell.

Not too sure which God you are talking about - the Judeo-Christian-Muslim God, any one of the hundreds of Hindu Gods, a Norse God, a Greek God, an Egyptian God, or any one of the other Gods I have failed to mention.

Mark,
God doesn't torture-He is to loving and humble for that. My misery (hell) has been/is of my own making. My experience is that whatever "hell" I've been in I have found peace by coming to God with a sincere, humble heart. To be at peace have peaceful thoughts:)

Every one in their lifetime had at least a chance to hear the word of God and a chance to invite Jesus Christ into their lives. And God loved the world so much that He sacrificed his one and only Son. i'm sure that he doesn't want to torture the world. He loves us, but it is Satan who tortures us. And yes, i believe God visited hell.

His flying sauce pan is brake down 6000 years ago and has not found any machines to repair. Therefore, He in stuck in between Mars and it's moons.

Therefore, I can safely say that He had not visited Hell for quite sometime, neither to Heaven.
