I recently re-ran windows xp software on my desktop, yet the monitor settings is extra large. all the icons, the taskbar, everything is extra big and when i go to properties, settings, the screen resolution is all the way to the left (less: 640 by 480 pixels) and won't allow me to adjust. how can i fix this problem. thank you

Install display drivers for your motherboard.

The best way to solve the problem. Click on Start/All Program/Accessories/System Tools/Restore System/Choose the date when pc was working fine follow the screen guidance and surely it will solve the problem.

This is the safest way to restore the system without loosing anything.

you need to re install the driver for your graphic card(video driver)

so you can adjust the settings of your resolution.

Your diaplay adapter has no longer been wisely put in. locate out the call of your show card. And seek the internet for the diaplay adapter for it on win2000. acquire, and set up.
