don't do sit ups do crunches make sure you squeeze your abs. those sit up do hurt your back. do the crunches and the leg lifts at the same time as a supper set 20 to 30 crunches then right to leg lifts and do as many as you can do five sets and make it burn. try drinking grapefruit juice three times a day you should see the difference in 30days. Your not losing weight because your not training hard enough or not eating right but good luck. and dont eat any heavy foods after 6 or 7pm

I never do sit-ups…too harmful and dangerous (especially if you feel pain).
Do some crunches instead, making sure to gently press your lower back flat into the floor the whole time.

“The sit-up places considerable stress on the lower back vertebrae, so individuals who experience lower back pain can sometimes alleviate this by doing crunches as an alternative abdominal exercise. Some research suggests that sit-ups may do more harm than good to the back.” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sit-up_(exercise))

Also, keep walking/jogging and don’t worry about the scale…you might gain muscle mass as you lose fat mass so the scale will not change much but your body will get thinner (muscle mass takes three times less space than fat mass, so you get thinner without losing weight on the scale).

Also think about getting muscle mass everywhere in your body, not just your abs. Do some lunges, squats and heel raises for your legs and some push-ups for your upper body and use some weights to do dumbbells curls and triceps extensions.

In order to lose weight you need to do three things: cardio, weightlifting, and eat fewer calories than you burn. For cardio, walk one hour a day, pretty fast. For weights, try crunches and pushups to start. For calories, eat about 500 a day fewer than you are right now, like stop drinking colas. Try www.weightwatchers.com for details.
Two other things: 1) Check out this website to see if you're really overweight: http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/dnpabmi/Calculator.aspx. 2) You should NOT be posting your email address online. There are a lot of weirdos out there!
