fill up your car, run it empty and see how much milage you get out of it by using the little counter on the speedo. That will be how much mialage you will get out of it. Cars are generally more economical on the open road. You're probably looking at about $150 at least

About 1000km at 10litres per 100km will use 100litres. At $1.30 a litre that will be $130. Work out your fuel consumption and do the sum. If your car uses more than 10/100 then it will cost more; if less, less.

Depending on the mileage you get from your Ford, and the size of your fuel tank, you can at least count on three tank top ups.
