If some government people came into your house and said you can only keep one of your kids. And you had to give up the other ones, and you would NEVER see them again. Would you pick? Dont say "dont know" I wana hear details hahah because when ever I ask my mom this question, she doesnt answer.

You didn't give "give yourself" as an option, only "give one of your kids".

I'd murder the government agent and run away with all my kids to Antarctica. WTH kind of question is that?

I would not choose.... I would tell them that they would have to take me instead. All of my children are of equal value to me and that decision is one that I pray I never have to be faced with. But if harm to my children was threatened if I didn't give them to someone else then I would show that I am the true mother.... just like in the Bible when the two women went before the ruler and asked him to decide who the baby should go with cause each claimed to be the mother, and he threatened to cut the child in half and that way each would have an equal part... the true mother said no give him to her because she loved the baby so much she wished him no harm while the other didn't care. A real mother would choose what is best for her children no matter what harm came to her.

This is not so unlike what people experienced during the holocost and during other tragic world crisis'. We may need even now to look towards Africa and the Middle East for current situations that produce these situations. Many children were sent away from their families for their protection, to serve in government, to serve on slave ships, orphaned by war, or sold.
This situation:
If I had not figured out how to get out of this horrifying predicament before hand or made some provisions for protecting my children as in sending them off to realtives in a safe zone, I would have to look at each one in the eye and tell them they are loved beyond measure and connected to me in all ways that mattered, that we will meet again in this world or the next , to trust their inner knowledge, and that life here on this earth is what we each make of it. God lives within you. I would say to the child that is the youngest or the weakest , mentally or physically, that we were the ones left to deal with this anomoli and we would do our best. To all children ...we will always strive to do our best, grow spiritually and be connected to what is most important in this physical world- Knowing we are not alone and finding the God that exisit in everyone of us. We are all connected.
If you are not a spiritual being I don't know how it could be explained or even made sense of.

First off, what a horrible scenario. I don't think a parent could pick, the nasty government would have to just take one. IF it were a life or death situation, you have to let go of the one you know would best survive - tell them why you are letting them go, that you love them, and you will do everything to find them.

God, what a sucky question! Never ask your mother again! They never want to think about loosing their sadistic little cherubs. Ugh, you've made me all squishy-sad!

There is a reason why your mother hasn't answered your question. Do you have kids? Doesn't sound like it. If you did you would know that just the thought of that situation happening would feel like a shot in the heart. Please don't ask your mother that question again, don't even think about it again.

That's why we live in America, so we don't have to make a choice. A good parent would never give up any of her children. They all mean something equally to her, that's what a good mother is like.

A good mother would sacrifice herself, rather than her children.

I have 2 daughters (orphans,I took them home 10 yeras ago, they were on the street) - Emmalyn(13) and Dayanna(11).If someone came from the governmetnt and made me pick one of them,I'd pick Dayanna, because she is younger and she is pregnant. If situation was normal,I would pick Emmalyn, because she is better-behaved than Dayanna and she is more responsible for herself than Dayanna is.

That's what a dumb government would do. A smart governement would say : "You got enough kids. Time for a vasectomy"

They would have to kill me before I chose one over the other. I can see why your Mom won't answer that question neither would I.
