the negatives is actually the roll of film that was in your camera. the camera puts the image on the camera and then the developer transfers the pictures from the negative to paper

It would be a better saying if it said you develop from the FILM.
There is positive film (slides) and negative film (prints) The "negatives" are the negative film after processing, which contain the image in negative form. The negatives are then printed using filtered light shining through a lens to focus onto photographic paper. This is all done in a darkroom or through a printing machine. The paper is then developed in chemistry, The final result is a photographic print.

I had exactly the same thing! I took a test and it was negative, even though my period was already a week late, then I took another one 3 days after, and it looked EXACTLY like yours (although not the same brand). That is definitely a positive, I am now 12 weeks and saw my baby on Tuesday with a good healthy heartbeat. I was a little confused too, because I have 2 children, and with both of my other pregnancies the + line was as strong as the control line, but I read everywhere that even a faint shadow of a line is a positive. Congrats!!!! *Mummy to Alex, 6, Encarni, 1 and due August 29*

Nah.

In old cameras, remember the negatives? These were the cellulose strips that came with your picutres when you got them back from the developer. All (analog) pictures start as a negative.

Hope this helps!

negative photos are pictures which have been developed but show the bits of light that are on the photo, the rest is blackness.

Negatives are just the copies of from a roll of film that makes it easier to store the pictures to be developed in case the original pictures show get lost, damaged, or if one should need extra pictures. Before digital-imagining it was the only way to have copies saved and it made it easier to store the extra pictures.

a negative is what you get when you have taken your film in to be developed, you can re-print your pictures from a negative, its a little black and white picture of the original picture you took (not digital only film camera's)
