I'm 22 and I like this girl but I found out that she likes older guys; I'm talking 11-17 years older. She says they are more mature, arn't as focused on sex, etc... So apparently it's going to be hard for me to turn her.
I cannot even begin to fathom why a girl would even consider going out with a guy near the age of her father; it makes completely no sense to me. My range for women is like 18-25.
These older guys must just be after the sex, or something...?
What is with you girls? How can you rather be with such an older guy than one your own age?

well different reasons for different girls... some are actually looking for a mature man that already knows what he wants ...
some do it for the adventure of being with an older man..
most find men in thier 20's to wild and un willing to settle down.. not quite set in knowing what they want...
if you want to turn her your direction you need to find the things she does really like to do... does she like these older men cause they take her on adventures she has never done.. are they spoiling with romancing.. older men are good at that.. thats another point most older men put women on a pedal stool... they learned through thier years how to sweep a woman off her feet.

Excuse me Hydrofire but I just happen to be one of those women who fall under that category. Look ever since I was a little girl and was being sexually abused by an older man, I have always dated older men. I am 27 years old to date and my husband of five years is 40 and we have a three year old son together. The reasons as to why a lot of us women prefer older men is because they are more mature and experienced in more ways than any man your age can or will ever be. Also older men aren't afraid of love or comittment, much less to go out and have a good time. They are also great in bed and have bigger rods and can have sex all night long. Look there are many other reasons that I can give you, but these are for starters.

I'm 26 and my hubby is 43. I leaned toward older guys when I was dating, but was honestly open to any age as long as the guy had a head on his shoulders & acted responsible. I think some women are more mature than their numerical age and seek men who match their maturity level. Not all of them are looking for a "sugar daddy". Personally I had my own money and worked hard for it & I wanted a guy who did the same. My husband really respected my decisions when it came to sex. I was by no-means easy. He was OK with that and didn't push the issue. So not all older guys are seaking a young energetic sex-fiened girl.
So this girl you mention likes older guys - ok. Check yourself - if you know what you want in a woman and in life and are willing to respect a girl in all aspects - you'll do just fine.

Hey stop hatein. I'm 34 and the last girl I went out with was 23. The younger girls like the fact us older guys have our own place and don't live at home with mom and pop. We can take them to better places then Jack in the Box and the movies. Get a good job and the chicks will line up.

Most of men "grow up" only after 35 when women grow up really early - some at 17, some at 23 but its much earlier than men do - men just dont want to take responsibility for anything when they are young.
so why deal with kids when you can have a grown up relationship?

She thinks she is sophsitcated. In reality, she is insecure. She wants a sugar daddy to lean on financially and emotionally. She doesn't have the mental stability to understand that 2 people need to carry their weight equally in a relationship. I don't know what these girls are trying to prove. There is nothing wrong with going out with guys in their own age group. You can do better than that. Lose the loser. She is no loss.
