Yes of course.
Or rather - people who think that nakedness is wrong, should have their heads examined.
they are mentally ill.
Sorry to say so - but that is a fact.
If it had been the meaning that we should wear clothes - we would have been born with clothes on.

I've heard a lot about the Aussie's approach to their "problem" imam's lately. I bet the pro-rape imam got deported!
Actually, the offense is found in the observer. When Adam and Eve were created, they were made sinless as well as naked. Even after they sinned, their nakedness wasn't a moral problem so much as a physical weakness. They were, after all, a married couple, and the only humans on the planet.
The various laws found in the OT against immodesty affect both genders, and for basically the same reason: humans tend to lust after things they see, and sexual temptation is strong. Men are especially prone to lusting after women based on what they see. Regulations about a woman's clothing is a realization of this EMOTIONAL WEAKNESS among men, and not a put-down for women.
Men also have to keep their plumbing covered, btw, but most women are just not turned on by what they see.

God didn't sin when he made us naked, he made us in a sin free environment sin is what makes us feel ashamed of our nakedness
(I am not at all trying to attempt to answer the muslim qns I don't quiet understand their exact point of view on that one.)
I would not be naked, because I don't not feel safe too and I see too many perverts just being clothed - no thanks to nudity.
Ha ha about the cattle. The offense is the observer and our current culture it is against the law to be naked in most public places, plus I would not feel safe.

The offense is in the observer. If there had been no sin we would still be naked. God created the human body to be beautiful. When Adam and Eve sinned that was the first thing that Satan showed them. They realized that they were naked. (never noticed before) Most "puritanical" people feel that the naked body incites carnal thoughts. I suppose that is true but I find offense in statements that women invite men to rape them. A woman should be able to walk naked in the street without men feeling like they are justified to violate them. That is just wrong.

Actually, the social issue with nakedness came about over the course of history and does not offend God in the least. We come into this world naked and when we die they chuck us in the gound in nice clothes that rot before we do.
If you look at eras like the Dark ages, there are huge clothes however in the Roman era people wore nothing more substantial than several sheets. Part of this is because of the religious influances of the time, as well as the attitudes of the culture.
The Church (the catholics) cracked down on nakedness and sexuality beginning in the Roman era AD because of the very over-sexed nature of the society. The change in attitude began to happen after Constantine proclaimed Christianity the "national religion" and foisted it on everyone, not that anyone paid attention. As the Catholic Church developed its power and belief structure its attitudes towards sex, the naked flesh, and all things carnal became very stiff. As such our current taboo of nakedness has developed over time.
Some of this can be attributed also to the Victorian era of England when a Virgin was queen and as such her prudish ideas of how marriage and sex should be conducted were condoned. Many virgins at that time went to their marriage beds frightened of their husbands and never knowing true passion. Prior to that however, sex was something to be enjoyed within the confines of marriage. Often, young girls were married to men in their "dotage", meaning men who were the senior citizens of the time. Often the wives would take lovers to keep themselves entertained because their spouse was often inept in bed and often not much of a socialite. With the coming of the Victorian Age men started taking mistresses very discretely and wives were expected to bear children, raise them, run the house and not complain.
Even the Pilgrims, those people we once thought a most righteous and devoute people with no sexual desires at all, have actually be found to be a randy bunch indeed. They left England to escape its "deboucheries" only to find themselves at the mercy of those same needs. There is documentation of sodomy, beastiality, and even insest going on because of the shortage of viable females.
So, our sordid sexual past, and our belief on nakedness stem not from God Himself but rather from the goings-on of our ansestors. Today we are more sexually free and open than we have been in almost 2000 yrs. Clothes today show off more than ever before, sex is simulated and insinuated in most everything. The human body is celebrated as an art form as well as a sexual being. Even the Catholic Church is starting to adapt its thinking to current times. Somethings will never change, granted, ie we will never be a universal nudist colony but we are more accepting of the things that used to be taboo.

No Dude, the problem is with the sin nature of fallen man.
The Bible says that when Adam and Eve were created, they were naked and unashamed. They were man and wife and there was no sin.
After they sinned, they were aware of and ashamed of their nakedness. The notion there is that they were suddenly ultra conscious of it.
Today, we have people who like provoking or being provoked to lust. The danger in this is that we have a society becoming hyper-sexualized which leads to rape, fatherless children and all manner of sexual deviance.
There is valid reason to pursue modesty. The ultra-concern for covering every part of a woman is one extreme which I think is over-board. However, western society's excess need to have over exposure is also an extreme which is wrong.
Women need to be modest, for the sake of propriety. Not because their bodies are bad, but because men are sinners.
I think my wife's nakeness is cool, but that's between me and her. I don't care to see young girls parading themselves shamefully like prostitutes. And for the young men who desire to see them, they are usually driven by sensuality instead of common sense. This is part of why western societies have so many fatherless kids and so many abortions, and so many sexual disease epidemics.
The body is a beautiful creation of God; but man is a sinner who needs to restrain his ungodly lusts. Clothing helps with that.
It's also good in winter.

God made humans perfect, originally. there was no shame in being naked, and they had everything they could ever want. they weren't aware of right and wrong...what they wanted was what God wanted, and that was right in their eyes.
however, when they committed original sin, they truly became aware of good and evil, and became ashamed of their nakedness. so no, God did not sin. God cannot sin...he's perfect.
in reference to the muslim question...men are lustful when not under the influence of God. if you're right in God, walking down the street and seeing a girl in a skirt and a tank top isn't going to bother you or put perverted ideas in your head. however, if a girl's walking in God, she'll respect herself and dress appropriately as well.

Xians are only just better than Muslims.
They both have a sexually-repressed Kultcha which means they're obsessed with sex.
Muslims go one step further and treat the whole lot of the woman as vagina and cover her all up.

No way man, God is sinless. In Christianity there is what they call "the dispensation of time".
dispensation of creation, dispensation of innocence, dispensation of promise, dispensation of law, dispensation of grace, etc.
Adam and Eve is under the dispensation of Innocence before they sinned because of disobedience by eating the forbidden fruit.
We are now living in the dispensation of grace which means up to now God is very long-suffering toward us, not willing that all of us should perish but all should come to repentance.
