My cat is really weird - he plays with his toy then he carries it to his food dish and puts it in it - he does this everyday. Why?

Domesticated cats are used to being fed by humans, so when they are stalking and attacking prey, they will actually play with it. When a cat doesn't have to hunt, it actually becomes a sport for them, so they'll do it with toys and other animals alike. When your kitty feels that he has sufficiently "killed" his prey, he takes it to his food dish and drops it in to save it for later.

Because these are the lovely silly things cats do! He probably thinks his toy is his pray, so it's food, or he just wants to put it on his own property, like the food bowl. Who knows?

i have 2 cats thy put all their toys on the air vent you can move thim, thay will put thim back i have had cats the last 23 years thay are just cats
