What sort of insurance company is it (life, auto, etc)? And why do you owe them money that they would consider suing you for? More details would be required before a good answer can be provided. GOOD LUCK

Depending on the Insurance Company- about 20 minutes. So find that job- FAST! Good luck.

Actually, all the insurance company will do is drop your insurance for non-payment.

Next they will contact the state to let them know your vehicle has no insurance.

THEN, the state will suspend your tag or even your drivers license.
