First of all use any razor or shave cream you like but ALWAYS shave with the growth of your hair. If you shave upwards against the growth you will get "bumps" and ingrown hairs. Use very hot water and rinse often (use a basin and swish - better than a running faucet). Then after rinse with warm water then cold to close your pores. If you are prone to break out use Witch Hazel as after shave then any balm once your skin is naturally dry.

I shave each day to prevent bumps. Make sure you have a new razor, wash your face first then let the shaving cream sit on your face for a little while (30 seconds to a minute) before you start to shave.

Have you tried using a shaving balm like Neutrogena, Nivea or Lumene?

See a dermatologist--he might give you a creme or lotion that will kill the bacteria that is causing the ingrown hairs to irritate.

Hope this helps.
