Were the teachings of Jesus Christ that unlike Taoism?

Christian theology interprets (from the Bible) that Jesus is God. Jesus, in his own words, never really says that he is God, not directly. The verses in which he does Refer to himself as God can be interpreted many different ways but they do imply that he is in someway connected to God. God's nature being unclear other than a "Supreme Being", what was the relationship between God and Jesus? The New Testament suggests that Jesus may have been directly communicating with a "Supernatural Force" that sustains and is within all of the Universe. It also suggests that this Force (God) in some way revealed itself to Jesus so that Jesus could teach the path of harmony/salvation.

It's true that Jesus does not say that he is God. Since it was death to speak the name of the Almighty in that age and culture, one would not expect him to.

Jesus comes pretty close, though, in "before Abraham was, I AM." (John 8:58)

He is clearly implying, within the context of that passage, that he has knowledge only God possesses. I won't say this means Jesus is God--after all, Jewish thought at the time had no sense of God beyond unicity, and Christian theology develops a theory of God based on the unity-in-threeness idea of the Trinity. So it is not surprising that Jesus did not tell people directly that he was God--because the sense in which he was God would never have made sense to a contemporary audience. Paradoxical, but true.

The Bible clearly says that Jesus was God, and that God is more than solely a 'supreme being'. Check out some of the links if you're interested, or leave me a message if you have further questions.

We are all of God. Jesus is of that part of God which was saved for self after the rest was used for all creation, spirit and physical. We are of creation, Jesus is of God.
To say Son of God is accurate, as is Son of Man.

God doesn't break the laws set down when the great divide was created. God cannot know what it is to be human. One cannot know unless one does. Jesus has done both, physical and spirit. He now is the link between the persona part of God and us. (No more priests or Gabriel.)

The Holy Spirit , the Oneness, the Spirit Wind is that part of God which flows through all things. It is the the part we see when we have an epiphany, it is the part that miracles come from.

As the bridge between man and God, Jesus also has the job of taking a persons sins from them. Spiritually sins are as real as any entity and cannot enter into heaven which is filled with God love. Jesus takes them on himself and they were burned away when he descended to hell after his death. Hell being that place away from God's love, and burned being a metaphor. To be of God, and have that in you your whole life then to be separated from it would burn beyond fire.

To be born again, to be born of the spirit is to surrender your sins to Jesus, opening your heart and accepting God's love from him.
When you feel his embrace you'll know.

Note:
When Jesus prayed he prayed to God.
He also said "Father why have you forsaken me"
The way some people say Jesus is God is blasphemy
