Sounds like you mean speaker wire rather than power cord. People usually don't think about "matching" particular brands of speaker cable and interconnects with their gear until they are in the upper stratosphere of the super high-end world. I say just get good wire that maintains the integrity of the signal given to it by the amplifier. Kimber Cable is an excellent brand. Don't skimp on your speakers though. Speakers differ from one another more than any other component.

Hi there. Most of the cables and interconnects that are made in England are excellent .Kimber Kable is one of the best for interconnects.I use Cable Talk Interconnects with the hope that they minimise signal degradation. Speaker cable is a little harder to choose.
I better be careful what i say 'cause the anti -cable mob will be trying to insult me about you can't tell the difference between cables affecting the sound! Oh no, here come the "THUMBS DOWN "I new this would happen, sorry mate ,you will just have to take my word for it.

Kimber makes good cables. Othe companies to consider are PS Audio, Audioquest. I found this power cord for $49 http://www.gttgroup.com/absolutepower.html. GTT Audio is a hi-end distributor in NJ. It works significanlty better than the stock cable which came with my Rotel processor.
You can also check www.audiogon.com - high-end audio trading place - for a used cable at very good prices.

I would skip the upgraded power cord for a receiver. Make sure you keep the signal lines and speaker lines away from the power. Instead you may want to invest in a power conditioner/surge suppressor.

Power cords are pretty specific. Try to go to the manufactures web site to purchase one, or, find if there is a universal power cord that will fit it.
