You can usually only buy drinks only after passing through security in the airport's shops. If you're serious though, you could call the airport.

Yes TSA will take your soda away. Don't be ridiculous. I was in Newark in September and they wouldn't allow ANY liquids onto the plane..even those bought after you had passed through all of the security. The only liquids allowed were those given to you by the flight attendants onboard the plane.

No, the rule is only liquids in 3.5 oz bottles, as many as will fit in a medium size ziplock bag.

you can't bring any big bottles of liquid on board, BUT don't worry they don't let you die of thurst. The stewarts have a cart full of every possible drinks on earth.

Yup. If you want a Coke- you have to buy it inflight- ON the plane. So fasten your seatbelt, -it's gonna be a thirsty ride! :)
