"Christ's return" means our awakening to ourselves, as God's Son ("Son" does not mean, "male"). We will (in our terms of linear time) return to our senses, and stop acting as if we were separate from our Creator, from one another, and ourselves. In truth, we awoke long ago...the world we think real was but the blink of an eye, and was gone. We never truly left, so there is no returning. We remain as created.

I don't know if Christ will return in my lifetime or in your lifetime. MANY Christians over the years have thought that He would return in their lifetimes... of the ones who have died already, in the twinkling of an eye (that instant recognized as crossing over from life to death), exactly 100% of them have been judged by God, prosecuted by Satan and either represented by Christ or not represented at all.
So... how prepared should I be, and how long can I procrastinate? I could die in my 90's as do the non-drinking men in my family... I could die at 78 as is the life expectancy in the US... I could have a heart attack at 60.... I could fall asleep at the wheel and die in a car wreck next weekend... or this Monday... or Christ could come before I finish this sentence....
How much time do we have to procrastinate on this?

I can only quote what God's word says on the matter:Keep on the watch, therefore, because YOU do not know on what day YOUR Lord is coming.
“But know one thing, that if the householder had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have kept awake and not allowed his house to be broken into. On this account YOU too prove yourselves ready, because at an hour that YOU do not think to be it, the Son of man is coming. -Matthew 24:42-44
True Christians certainly SHOULD keep that day close in mind, rather than putting it in the far distant future. In this way, they remain prepared. (2Peter 3:11-12)
In fact the Bible also prophesied that ridiculers would use the fact that Christians have been looking forward to Christ return for many generations as a point of contention and derision. (2Peter 3:3-4)

Thats true, they have all thought that it would happen in their life time. Because Jesus said that no man would know the hour or the day. If you line it up with prophecy and the current events taking place in Israel. I think the rapture will take place in the year 2011. With the 7 year tribulation right after that, ending in the year of 2018, When the Second Coming will take place, with Jesus returning with his saints to destroy the antichrist and the rest of the lives will be destroyed by balls of fire falling from Heaven. (I believe this speaks of Astroids). But like I said no one knows the hour or the day. Maybe today, Maybe 2011. Jesus said to be ready, and always be watching for his return. We are to watch the eastern sky. As far as do I believe I will see his return in my life time. YES,YES,YES,YES,YES,YES,YES!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus said that we wouldn't know when it would happen, but that we should be prepared. Personally, I think it's more than possible that our civilization could continue on for another million years. Our idea of time and God's idea of time aren't exactly the same. Soon to him could be soon to us or far away to us.
Personally, I think it'd be kinda cool if we were spread across the galaxy before it happens, being that I think space travel is such a cool idea.

I don't know when Christ will return, I do know that his return gets closer with every tick of the clock.
His return IS IMMINENT, in that there are no unfulfilled prophesies that have to be fulfilled before he returns.

If we have the attitude he comes soon, that can keep some from getting disillusioned and stray.
If we think he will take another 100 years, we need to be reponsible to make this world last for our kids and their kids.

The Apostles thought that Jesus was going to establish the kingdom before their death and they had to be the ones who were best advised as to his intentions since they walked and talked with him.
Now that they are all gone to their reward (or not), it seems silly to speculate, doesn't it?

my friend the book called bible has 66 books we are living in the last one Revelation that book has 22 chapter and right now we are living the chapter 17 (great harlot´s destruction) means the destruction of all false religion if you divide 17/22 you will get 0.78 by 100 equal 78%, so the 78% percent of the last book is already fulfilled, think about it.
