Certified organic raw unpasteurized filtered apple cider vinegar has been proved to help to lose weight.
It helps to detoxify the liver which plays an important role in weight loss. There are historical facts that Egyptians took apple cider vinegar for weight loss. Some claim ACV speeds up the metabolism while some claim it burns the calories to reduce appetite. To lose weight just take 1 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, mixed in water, before every meal.

I don't know about vinegar, but a recent study in Australia indicated that a glass of wine with dinner slows carbohydrate absorption.
Also, I read on MSN that the body craves variety (which is part of why we crave dessert, even after a full meal). Brushing your teeth right after eating may serve the same purpose as vinegar.

I don't know if it really helps you lose weight, but, my grandmother is 87 and she drinks about a tsp every morning
and she's the healthiest person I know. She's in better shape than her kids. She's a caretaker in her apt complex.

Not at all.
Vinegar is a mild acid. It works for tenderizing meat, not dissolving body fat.
Don't believe everything you hear.
