I speak specifically of atheists. Sorry to dissappoint some of the holy rollers out there, but some of us in the human race just can't believe in a so-called "higher power" , no matter how hard we would try, or however much you lot bully us. Why can't you people learn to live and let live, when it comes to the matter of personal opinion?

That's not the nature of religion...you'll always fall into this with some. Sorry. But there are others out here who won't judge. :)

religeon was the answer to questions man could not answer, which was ok for 2000 years ago, but once man reached the 1500's and started to find answers (inspite of religeon) religeon became obsolete. but religeon became a tool to control people, and it was neccessary to brainwash people to perpetuate religeon and maintain control. the custom of brainwshing persisted though, and is in widespread use even today, even though it's original purpose has long since passed. today religeon has evolved into a money making enterprise, and Atheism is the main threat to this enterprise, It is not judging, it is protecting and the brainwashing is still neccessary.

the other reason is that it is hard to admit that something you have believed in for all your life could possibly be false, so you are naturally defensive. the brainwashing is effective

WOW!!!!! I most definitely can let you and all atheists live and let live. If you freely choose not to believe in any deity for whatever reason, oh well. Go ahead and don't believe. No skin off my teeth. But then you have to let me live with my beliefs in God. And you have no right to take them away. You have no right to tell my children that they can't say the pledge of allegiancein school or to take "Trust in God" off our country's money. Let things that have been part of our great country alone and if you don't like it, ignore it. Having God's name on a few things won't kill you.

Exactly. "No matter how hard you try". You will never believe until God allows you to. Read John 17. Believers are given to Jesus and not the other way around. You are serving your purpose right now. You just don't know it or understand it until God allows you to.

Jesus commands out to go out and seek the lost, spread the Good News. If hearing Gods Word convicts you of the sin in your life, take it up with God, it is not me who judges you, it is His Words that judge you and all of us. He is the Judge, I am only a messenger. This is Gods plan for the world.
Praise The Holy Lamb Of God !!!

People judge all the time and they don't have to belong to any religion. I think if you are an atheist and are happy that way, that's ok. I am not going to judge you. Have a good day.

I dont. I love everyone. And I think religion is evil but I had a personal experience with Jesus and Jesus saved me when I repented and Jesus filled me with love and peace but it is not your time yet or it might never be your time. You might live not believe and then disappear if that is the way you feel. You only have one shot at this deal and its your choice.I love You whatever you do.

I'm a Christian. Not everybody else shares my beliefs, and I fully understand that. People can believe, or not believe, whatever they want. Their personal choices are just that: choices. I chose to be a Christian. They chose to not be Christian. Life goes on.

This from a Christian:

It is probably because most of us don’t understand how to act like a Christian.
