The bible expresses this thought question to those who have turn away from God's love in Hebrews 2:3-4. What excuse will the ungodly have in God's final Judgement phase?

I do believe in God. That doesn't mean I believe everything the Bible says except where it talks about how His thoughts are higher than man's and how God is loving and merciful. I read 1 Cor. 13 and I can't believe anything we could do that would separate us from his love. Armageddon already happened and life is eternal.

Could you please do me a favor and quit making God out to be an evil monster that non believers should be afraid of? Why not just focus on the fact that "the next day will have its own anxieties. Sufficient for each day is its own badness." Matt. 6:34.

Why not bask in God's glory without creeping out everyone who doesn't enjoy it like you do? Is God good or evil? What does he want you to do with that light of the world that he has placed within you? Can you be vindictive while loving God in Spirit and Truth?

Get over yourself already and let your fellows live in peace! You can only convert people when you truly love and understand them. Otherwise, you're just pissing them off. You might even find things you have in common with them.

Here's what slips past your notice. You believe all this lovely stuff about God and judgement and the Bible, and so you think that everyone else must believe it, too, even though they claim that they do not.

However, they don't believe. Really. The Bible to them is a goofy book full of bronze age nonsense.

Using the Bible to convince people of God is like using paint to change the color of the air.

Funny. Judaism does not believe in trinity and Islam does not believe jesus is a god. So in their eyes you are the non-believer. The question is:
"How shall you escape God's judgement when actually you are worshipping other being?"

1 Cor 13: 4-5

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Therefore, if god truly loves, then by his own words, he keeps no record of wrongs, so he won't have anything to pass judgment on, come final judgment day. Of course, your implication of "worship god or suffer eternal torment in hell" also violates god's word. Love is not self-seeking. Surely a god who can define love so eloquently wouldn't be so self-seeking as to torture people for all eternity for not fawning all over him with worship.

Undoubtedly, I'm interpreting it wrong or taking it out of context. Why does god get to love selfishly? Why does god get keep a record of wrongs, but not humans? Why does god get to be jealous enough to demand that a father sacrifice his own son to prove his love, while we must accept his love entirely on faith, entirely enough that he never definitively shows himself? Is god not perfect? If so, then why is jealousy not a part of perfection? Or did I read the first commandment incorrectly? Did I take it out of context? Or does it no longer apply since it's in the old testament? If jealousy is a godly trait, then why are we not permitted to have it? Jealousy is inherently envious. It's self-seeking, impatient, and unkind.

Please explain. Thank you.

Loving people don't condemn other people to eternal punishment, no matter what they've done. Even murderers don't get eternal punishment in the human world.

Do you think so little of your god that you believe he's less loving than the average human being?

And that death on the cross thing? Way overrated. He was only "dead" for, what? 48 hours?

Oh, give me a break. Do you really talk like that at home or on the way to work or in line at the bank? I'll bet people run when they see YOU coming.

What the hell do YOU care what happens to "non-believers?" You sound like a freaking radical Muslim with this question, only you aren't using the stupid word "infidel."

Why can't people like you grasp this simple fact: WE THINK THE BIBLE IS BUNK, SO DON'T QUOTE IT TO US! We don't believe the Bible is the actual word of a God! What part of that do you not understand?

Well, since I don't believe that the Bible is to be literally interpreted and since I don't believe in the whole Christian thing, I am not worried. I am not simply going to turn to Jesus simply because I don't want to go to hell. That is a total user mentality.

To the atheist there is no god and there is no judgment. What part of that don't you understand? Also quoting a religious text to an atheist that is supposed to be the word of a god, a god the atheists doesn't believe exists, in order to prove that god exists, makes no sense.

Greetings Friend,

Can we save ourselves? Of course you will say, "No." But, if I have to do something to get saved, then I am saving myself and Jesus died in vain. If Jesus did it all, then there is nothing I have to do. If I have to do something, then Jesus' death was pointless. If I could do something to save myself, then why did Jesus have to die on a cross?

Christians want it both ways, but you cannot have it both ways. Christians want to say, "Jesus die for our sins," but then they demand that we do this and stop doing that. It doesn't work that way and you cannot have it both ways. Either Jesus did it all or he did not? Which way do you want it? Most Christians want to still work to save themselves. But, if the gospel is true, everyone is already saved, so I will see you in heaven along with every other person who ever lived or will live.

sending love,

Non-Believer of what? The FSM?

If you are talking about christianity god, you have to prove his existence first. Being loved by an imaginary master is as real as being loved by your imaginary gay lover.
