Was running down the road , climbing up on a gear running about 4500 rpm and all of a sudden i lost power , i have fine compression , no smoke , this is a new engine.. it seems to be running on 3 cylinders so something in the spark is not working right.. ive checked my plugs , wires and ignition and they all seem to be working.

suspect a cam follower was kicked out of position because there is no mention of backfire i would suspect an intake follower normaly you just remove the valve cover and pop it back in place

Check for loss of fuel?

A injector can cause same issue if the connector comes off or the injector goes history... but as others said, if a new engine, you could have had something let loose..

But first make sure you are running only on 3 cylinders.. sometimes you can break something and feel like a miss when it ain't
