Evil is kind of subjective so anyone who adds their own connotation can say this is so.
1) Atheists answer to society, just like everyone else does. Theists claim they answer to their god(s), but the reality is that the only accountability we actually have is governmental of social in form. God doesn't put a person in jail for stealing.
2) This makes no sense. You'll need to clarify if you'd like an answer.

No, it is not.
1) I DO have someone to answer to... myself. I have a conscience and when I do something even remotely wrong (sociologically, personally, morally, ethically), I feel bad and I don't like to feel bad. It threatens my health and makes me a grumpy person. So I try not to do things that make me feel bad because if they make ME feel bad, they probably make OTHERS feel bad and I don't want anyone else to feel bad, too. Unfortunately, many Christians don't have a conscience or they wouldn't constantly be saying I'm an evil person because I don't believe what they do... it makes me feel bad but they just don't care.
2) It doesn't matter if I like someone, no.... you're right. But I don't treat them any differently than a friend, either. I give them common courtesy and respect (unless they've proven to not deserve my respect) and I just leave them alone otherwise.
It also doesn't matter if YOU like ME... you don't know me and whether or not you like me is of no consequence to me. If someone in my real life doesn't like me, I'd like to know why and if there's someone I've done to offend them, then I apologize. If it's just differences in our personalities, well, I can't change that and we're just not friends.
Does everyone in the world have to like you? Why?

Some people think so...
SPIRIT
I was an infant when my mother went
To see an atheist burned. She took me there.
The dark-robed priests were met around the pile;
The multitude was gazing silently;
And as the culprit passed with dauntless mien,
Tempered disdain in his unaltering eye,
Mixed with a quiet smile, shone calmly forth;
The thirsty fire crept round his manly limbs;
His resolute eyes were scorched to blindness soon;
His death-pang rent my heart! the insensate mob
Uttered a cry of triumph, and I wept.
"Weep not, child!" cried my mother, "for that man
Has said, 'There is no God.'"
— Percy Bysshe Shelley, (1792-1822)
Let a wave of intolerance wash over you. I want you to let a wave of hatred wash over you. Yes, hate is good.... If a Christian voted for Clinton, he sinned against God. It's that simple.... Our goal is a Christian Nation... we have a biblical duty, we are called by God to conquer this country. We don't want equal time. We don't want Pluralism. We want theocracy. Theocracy means God rules. I've got a hot flash. God rules.

No, don't be ridiculous.
Why do we (people) need someone to answer to? Man, we've got enough stress in our lives with bosses, the government, tax man, insurance premiums, utility bills that we have to answer to every month or so! Why make MORE work for ourselves than we can humanly handle?
And if we don't like something, it just means we DO like something else. Like, for example, free thought to figure things out on our own without someone telling us how to think because that's how everybody ELSE thinks.

Clearly not - Evil acts are the embodiment of evil. Two simple examples: Hitler did not consider himself an atheist, and according to scripture, neither does Satan.

First, this is idiotic, I am not an athiest, but I know a hater when I see one.
It is not the embodiment of evil, because there is no body to a religion(or nonreligion).
They are just non-believers. They will go into limbo, or purgatory, or something and will have the chance to hear the gospel and accept or deny it, just like everyone else who hasn't had the chance to hear the word of God.

Morality does not require religion. And religion has motivated some to commit evil acts. All things in sheep's clothing are not necessarily a lamb.

No i believe that the embodiment of evil lies within the pages of the bible....
http://www.evilbible.com/
(1) You can blame all your wrong doings on "Satan made me do it!!"
(2)You are told not to like certain people because of their actions...you dont even need to know them to come to the conclusion that they are bad!
I could list a hundred, no a thousand bad points but i believe the above website does it quite well...
Blessed Be!
