Who's been to summerschool? 10 pointz?

I have to go to summerschool this summer because I screwed up bad in 7th grade/school ...

Is it like filled with bad kids ?? Are they strict?

Could you tell me everything you know about it.. thanks 10 points.

It really depends on the school. Usually, summerschool is a little tougher than regular school, because you have to accomplish a lot in a little bit of time. The good thing about it is that, if the reason you are there is that you struggled with that subject, you have a smaller class and the teacher is ready and willing to help you master that subject.

If you are there, bcause you played around and were lazy, however, this will be a good opportunity for you sit up and fly straight... it is not full of bad kids, because, if the kids misbehave and get in the way of teaching or learning, they will ultimately be shipped over to alternative school.

Again... it all depends on the school and how they handle things.

It's not necessarily filled with bad kids. Just kids that failed a class or two that need to make it up. Honestly, the strictness depends on the school and the teacher. My summerschool teacher was really nice and I learned a lot more there than I would've had I taken the class in a normal school year. Good luck!

I've been to summer school, and now I have worked at summer school! Summer school typically is not filled with "bad" kids - just kids who had trouble for whatever reason during the school year. My experience is the teachers are usually different teachers than during the school year, so if you weren't clicking with a teacher, you have a new opportunity. Summer school is sometimes strict on attendance, because it is such a short time to make everything up. Take advantage of this second chance, and do your best - I can guarantee it will be better than repeating a whole quarter/semester/year of classes!

7th grade must be hard, cause I went to summer school for the 7th grade too...

It has it share of bad and good kids but if you stay away and DO your work, then most kids leave you alone.
I went straight to my first class did my work went to the next class ( I had 3 all together ), and after my last class, went straight home. No one ever bothered me.

The teachers are only strict cause they don't want to be there but they have too and they want you to study...

I remember I had a white man for my math, a black man for my reading and a white woman for something, but, the black man was the sweetest one of them all. he worked with me to get better and ON Saturday's when my mom and I would go shopping, I'd see him cause he worked in the shoe department at the local Belks downtown.
So that was cool.

The only thing I can tell you is to go and do the work , get passing grades ( do you best ) and go home. Hopefully the kids won't pick ...

Oh dont worry about a thang....I was a junior last yr and it was my first time going to summer skool...I was worried too....But its pretty cool...Ull meet new people....It will get boring...lol...No it is not filled with badd kids....Just kids trying to get ahead and kids that kinda slacked off alil....Well every school is different and every teacher is different....But most likely if ur respectful and cool, the teachers are down...N they will b cool wit u....The summer school it was self paced which means that they give u this paper and u just work at ur own pace to get it done....which was cool cuz i was done it a matter of a wk n a half.........It just depends on where ur going....I hope this helps u....Good luck in summer school!!!!! Hay its not that bad i think it is pretty fun it is better then siting around all day but any ways no it is not filled with bad kids and they are not that strict i went to summer school before and i was in 7Th grade

I am in summer school right now. It's really not that bad, just boring! Lol. The kids aren't all that bad, there's just a few annoying ones like any other classroom. With my summer school all I do is chapter reviews for three hours straight, UGH! =[ My schooling should be over with withing one week and I failed one class. Hope that helps.

No not all the kids in summer school are bad and flunck their classes, im in it to get aheaad and graduate as a senior, im taking english III and Gov and Economics, i did make up half a cred of algebra but its not a bad as most people think, and as long as you get it over with and you pass your classes from now on, then its only one summer, and not two or three.

Way back in the stone age, I had to go for math. The kids were okay. I hated the teacher, tho, because it was the school principal. She had a reputation for spanking kids with rubber hoses with nails inside it. (Wasn't true, but that was what everyone said.) She was very strict.
