To live on an earth where people strove to develop deeper understanding of of our purpose.

Where minds are open enough to calmly discuss the meaning and origin of life.

Where all who partake in the discussion reserve judgment until all facts are verified and allow room for those who may be lagging behind in their understanding and knowledge.

Y/A could be such a place but then who says I deserve my ultimate reward anyway.

I know ow it seems so easy to call people like me 'religious', but I really don't prefer that title. But have it your way.

This is what I think of, honestly, as to what I expect:
Luke 17
7 "Suppose one of you had a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Would he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, 'Come along now and sit down to eat'?
8 Would he not rather say, 'Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink'?
9 Would he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do?
10 So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, 'We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.' "

I believe that there are rewards, but I leave it up to God to provide them. There will be a judgement for believer's, and it is written that we will judged by our deeds, good or bad. Those deeds which are not based upon what God has us doing will be burnt away, and only those with eternal implications will stand that test.

Good Muslims are rewarded with Eternity in the Garderns of Paradise, where they will live a happy, peaceful existence with Allah(swt).

We are expected to follow the laws that Allah prescribed us to live by. We are expected to worship God alone no other dieties, pray to him five times a day, fast during Ramadan, give charity, not kill, not steal, not drink alcohol or use other drugs, not gamble or deal with interest, not have sex outside of marriage, be good to our fellow humans.

Of course, God forgives our sins. For every good deed we do, 10 sins are wiped out. If our good deeps outweight our sins, we will get into Paradise God Willing.

My ultimate reward from God would be to be chosen as his messanger, a prophet of some sort, or maybe to become a saint(even though I'm not Catholic).

I would have to live a humble, modest life. I would have to help out those with less than me.

I do help those with less, I often give to charity....but I must admit I am full of sin, therefore I would not be chosen to be given this gift.

I'm Christian, and I consider that I already have a reward, because God has given me life and blessings through his son. There's another reward later for all the people who follows him and do his will. Please consider that I'm talking about DOING his will, not PRACTICING a religion because that's different. I think we most believe in God because of who he is and has given us, not only because of what reward I'm going to get if I do something. Live with passion and not religion because the religion is not going to change your life completely. The change starts in YOUR HEART, not in your head. I expect heaven if I serve the Lord with all my heart ...I need to keep doing my effort to be there. I'm not saying that I deserve it, but I need to have him in my life to get there.

1. Since I'm a bit long in the tooth to die heroically in the company of good men (and opportunities to do it well are in short supply)it would be to be gathered into the folds of my ancestry at the end of a long, happy, and prosperous life, and be remembered and honored by my descendants . . . and theirs. Heathens believe THIS life is the one which counts.

2. Be myself, live honorably, do my best. Honor my godhs.

my ultimate reward is to be in heaven with my Creator. I get it by trusting in Christ as my savior and turning my life over to him. Very fulfilling.
