rod piazza and the mighty fliers,william clark(passed away bout 13 years ago)gary primish,lil charlie and the night cats,kim wilson,mark hummel,i have played harmonica and blues flute for 30 years,these,i feel represent the best of the 2000's era.they have stuck to the tradition.Chicago and west coast jump type of blues,and have brought it into the present.good stuff.william clark had a style that tip toed into the jazz world,while keeping it in the blues vein.he got that big band sound with a harp.

What I like to do is go to a library and check out a cd by an artist I've never heard of, or that I've heard the name but not the music. That way you can listen to new music, but if you don't like it you don't lose any money. That is how I discovered Taj Majal.
