Bad emotions are created by bad choices made by us or people around us. Except maybe depression since in some cases thats kind of a physical thing. It all comes down to free will. We have it, we're going to use it. And because we're fallible, alot of the time we're going to use it unwisely.
Does God have a meaning for it? Yes, He does. I believe that in this case He uses it to get us to lean on Him, to go to Him for help. There could be other reasons. I don't have the brain power to presume to know God's reasoning, really. I just trust Him to know what's best for us.

First of all emotions have nothing to do with free will. Emotions are chemical reactions to stimuli. As in depression these chemicals sometimes get out of balance and need help in correcting themselves via medicine for example. Bad emotions like hate and envy are normal and something we all experience if we were honest with ourselves. We are meant to have and experience all the emotions. But, we must not dwell on the bad ones. Have them and then get over them. Don't let them camp out at your place, visits only. Dwelling on these feelings or thoughts brings major negativity into your life.

The Devil created everything bad: pornography, earthquakes, hemorrhoids, global warming, work, hangovers, traffic tickets, the IRS, Donald Trump's comb-over, depression, sadness, temptation, and sin.
God created everything good in the world: rainbows, fairies, religion, angels, sunsets, smores, cable TV, the three Jessicas (Alba, Biel & Simpson), beer, YA, and .......
the Devil. Go figure.

Depression, sadness, loneliness are all painful. God wants to give us joy. We can have that joy even during very hard times by having a personal relationship with Jesus. He said "abide in me, that your joy might be full".

Bad emotions were developed by humans thru evolution. Stop blaming god for everything and look to yourself.

I don't know. I have all the symptoms you mentioned and more, but I still serve God because I don't just serve Him in the good times, but bad as well.

Without bad things to compare good things to, we wouldn't really feel "good." I think this is nature's way of making us appreciate good things.
