did you ever stop to think that jesus never once looked at anyone and said you sinner you need to change your ways or die.....no he said god loves you and if you follow his laws you can be saved....thats shows that everyone has the choice to be what they want ..but in order to be with jesus you must conform to what the word of god says about how you should live and think...so even if most people do or do not think it is or is not hate... are you violating Gods laws when you openly tell them they are sinners and will die and never see heaven... this not our place to do or force our way of life on anyone else....what you are suppose to do is show them love and let them find out on there own through the studing of the bible and being taught in the way of jesus that their lives are wrong .....1 you are not to judge anyone for this is Gods place to do only...2...you are suppose to show all love and the true purpose of Jesus"s way....3 they have their own right to choose the right or wrong path just as you do....your constitutional right to free speech does not give you the right to hurt others or say bad things about anyone..it only gives you the right to be able to say things in their proper perspective....what you should possibly be saying is God loves you and wishes you to repent and follow his laws...

There are a handful of passages in the Bible that speak of homosexuality as an abomination or a sin, and people who zero in on those passages are missing the greater, more persistent message of "Love thy Neighbor." Some people are so fixated on those few passages that they neglect the larger, more important message.
As modern medical science zeros in on the genetic predispositions toward homosexuality, it is becoming increasingly obvious that homosexual orientation is basically genetic and biological, and not a lifestyle choice. People are going to have to rethink the Bible's teachings on these matters, just as we have had to rethink the teachings on slavery.
It might interest you to know that Jesus never said a word on the subject, only pointing out that "for this purpose a man shall leave his parents, (get married) and the two shall be as one." This could hardly be taken as a condemnation of homosexuality, but it does establish heterosexuality as a societal norm.
Someone who feels a burning need to point out the sins of others and tells them that they are going to Hell would not be someone who I would choose to invite into my home, or my church, or my life.

Greeting Friend,
I guess I will answer your question with a question. When you point out some one's "sin", do you do it with anger or self righteousness? If you do it with anything other than a feeling of love in your heart, yes, it is hate. No matter how you want to justify yourself, you and I both know that you have hatred in your heart when you "point out Sin." Or are you claiming that you have love in your heart? See, I know how easy it is to say, "I am doing this because I love you." But, if we were honest with ourselves, we would admit the feelings we have in our hearts are anything but love. I know that when I sometimes punish my kids that I do it out of anger and proclaim that I did it out of love.
Only you can know whether or not I am speaking the truth. So, examine your own heart. My friend, know that I am sending you love. Even though you have hatred in your heart, you are loved. There will come a day when you will love as you are loved. I will meet you there.
sending love,

most already know... and others defend what others already know.
facts are there has been hate crimes surrounding this issue, just as there have been hate crimes in the abortion issues,
so people are case sensitive.
what blows my mind is the same sex issue is so welcomed now.
If you notice everything is leading back to the days of Sodom and Gomorrah ust as the Word of God said it would...
prayer for the homosexual and others, in the mean time plant the Word of God here on the site...
seeds sown are harvested here, I promise,
I've seen results.
God bless you<><

Hell that is spewed out of the mouth comes from a hateful heart. Don't worry about someone else's sin, just worry about your own. Most people in this day and age know what their sins are, and don't need you to point them out.

This is a free country. You've every right to speak out against it as homosexuals have every right to speak up for it.
Homosexuals do not care about "sin", or "God". Those that do, and claim they're Christian are just fooling themselves, because "God" (I use the " because I'm not religious at all) despises the sin. You'll have to go on terms of context (as in non-religious) if you want to make any change.
However, I don't think any change will come until homosexuality is punishable by law. Until it is seen for what it is - a mental disorder - the unnaturality (probably not a word, but I don't care), sodomy, and narcissism will continue.
However, your religion states:
"Remove first the log in your own eye before you worry about the splinter in your brother's eye."
Christians are not called to condemnation.
If any one in any one religion actually followed their own principles, I wouldn't be an Atheist.

It is hate....but it is your believe and you have the right to express it...will people agree with you? some will, but some will denounce your actions.
I denounce it because they will not burn in hell. Hate the sin, love the sinner is what I always say. They will have their chance to ask for forgiveness, but it is their fault if they miss it.
And the purpose of pointing out sin is to show that you're not humble and modest, but full of pride and vain, thinking you are perfect and one who is able to judge others....
P.S. Homosexuality is not a sin within itself, but if you commit sodomy is when it becomes a sin. I may be wrong, but I don't remember reading a scripture saying that homosexuality is a sin.

Well, to be perfectly honest, free speech is simply a veil of smoke. You have the right to speech, yes, but you do not have the right to hate speech.
So I guess it all boils down to the manner in which it was said. If it was something like "You're gay, you're going to hell. Change your way now" then I can see how it could be "hate speech." If it was something like "You're sinning" it's not so much hate as it is.... religious information. Granted that information probably wasn't asked for--so it's rude regardless.

I'm sure there are no homosexuals hovering around you and pointing out all the "sins" in your life.
If you don't believe in homosexuality, you don't have to practice it. But you also don't have to be verbal about it. Just live your own life and let them live their lives. Besides, not everyone believes in sin or in your religion.

There is a fine line between pointing out someone's "sin" and harrassment. To most people "sin" is subjective, so you really have no right to be taken seriously. It is like calling someone fat or ugly or stupid. It really doesn't mean anything but it can hurt people's feelings.
