My 17 year old niece would like to become a pediatric nurse. I'm looking for recommendations for schools in Michigan, and any important information/advice she should know.

Thank you very much!

I encourage her to at least obtain her bachelor's degree..go visit and talk to the schools/universities....compare their NCLEX pass rates, ask about the length of clinical time, talk to current nursing students...

a million. Pedi nurse is extra suitable. To me, it is not as monotonous and could be much less demanding. in step with danger slightly extra emotional than being a instructor, yet once you retire it fairly is going to be extra helpful. 2. Being a instructor is harder. A room packed with young little ones for 8 hrs an afternoon for 9 months, and a few of them not having the final parenting at homestead. 3. in case you do it top, a pedi nurse will pay a lot extra. Plus it has many trip possibilities in case you artwork contracts. i be attentive to an ICU nurse working in California top now who's there on a 2-month settlement, making $40 two in step with hour rapidly time, and getting each and each of the extra time she needs at time and a nil.5. 4. Pedi nursing may well be extra versatile. instructors are in school from approximately 7 am to 4 or 5 pm on a regular basis. each and each has this is execs and cons, merely study them in the previous you leap into one or the different!
