a handful is about $1.99.... or buy a seed packet for 59 cents and grow your own! (in a pot only, or it will take over your yard/bed!)

Around here (middle of Pennsylvania) it goes for about $1-2 for a bunch. It's really plentiful, especially in the late spring and early summer.

You might want to invest a few dollars in a small potted mint plant. It grows REALLY easily, and you'll have more of it than you can use.

Number of tiers usually doesn't matter, it is about number of servings. A plain grocery store cake should run you less than a dollar a serving.
