I practice a little these days. It works as a great supplement to some of the other Martial Arts. It's arguably the most physical as well. I recommend it to anyone looking to increase fitness level. There's self defense in it as well.

To the person below me: Any Martial Artist from any style can be beaten by a more intelligent opponent. It doesn't matter if you're taking Kung Fu or Sambo.

No, but I have been focusing on chen 83 er lu and 71 yi lu tai chi, and regularly practising the sun, both wu and the yang form for a little over a month now, and last week a friend of mine who took capoeira for three years said "lets spar" kinda laughing. I tossed him around, knocked him to the ground (something I could NEVER do before taking this) and dodged his hand stand kick thingies easily. Capoeira is interesting but its easily beaten if you are faced with a more intelligent opponent.

No, but my friend has. It is a fighting technique using a dance. I actually saw him use it in a real fight. The best move was when he started in a hand stand and sprung of his hands using his feet to crash into the stunned victim.
