real chicken stock is the only way to make chicken noodle soup. cubes are never as good as fresh. It is very easy to make a stock. Just boil chicken bones, necks feet whatever parts of the chicken u got , but remember to bake the bones first to bring outr flavors, then boil in water and add a miripoix to the pot.A miripoix is carrot celery and onion in some cheesecloth or tied together.

I would suggest using chicken broth. Because it's not as salty as buillon cubes, and it still has flavor. so if you're doing it homemade, you can use the broth when you boil your chicken breasts, but if it's bland, then i sprinkle some chicken bouillon. but i use the kind that you sprinkle, instead of the cubes.

Bouillon has a high sodium content but still has flavor so it's a matter of preference. But I would go with the brother. And you can always buy store bought broth. I recommend buying the kind in the box in not in the can because it comes in a nice size and it's refrigerated and in it's own container so you don't have to use all of it at once. HOpe that helps.

Well, of course real home-made chicken stock is going to taste the best, you control exactly what goes into it, but you may not always have it on hand. I have a couple suggestions for you. First, make a huge batch of chicken stock, then freeze it into separate containers. Then, when you want chicken soup...voila! But, what if you run out? My favorite thing is the chicken broth in the little paper box containers, such as Swanson's, it's not tooo salty and it stores in the fridge. But, if you do want to use the boullion cubes, buy ones with extra flavors--there are some such as "Chicken and Herbs" or "Chicken with Garlic" these aadd an extra kick! Yummy!

I use them all! The broth from cooked chicken, 3 cups water and 2 bouillon cubes. Add carrots, celery, onions, salt & papper, cooked chicken, and noodles.

Chicken Stock would be best, but chicken broth is a fair choce... boullion cubes and water would be my last choice.

Since you need chicken for the soup, just boil a whole chicken to make your own stock!

I only use bouillon from Europe, but real chicken soup you have to make from real chicken and that takes 3 to 4 hours.

They are both very similar in taste, but I always go with Chicken broth myself. Maybe it's just habit. Also, canned Chicken Noodle Soup such as Campbell's, is also very delectable :)

Stick with the broth, the cubes have more salt.
