Get your iron levels checked and get checked for circulation problems. Low iron is the main reason for restless leg syndrome. Another thing to consider is the RLS is the beginning of nerve damage that you slowly occur several years later, so get checked for diabetes, B12, folate, etc. Lastly, don't overexpose your skin to temperature extremes

I had restless leg syndrome with my last pregnancy, and couldn't take meds for it. I got some relief massaging my legs with some lotion when I layed down at the end of the night. It wasn't the best solution, but it did help a little.

Calcium, Magnesium and Potassium.

My wife is taking the the first two and still kicking. Has not kicked me too much since the Potassium but she does still twitch a bit.

My husband has this and says it helps when I massage his calfs and scratch them. I'm sure you could do this yourself.

maybe, drink more water, eat more foods containing potassium, and exercise. if that doesn't work, see a doctor.
