find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical, rope jumping etc.) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Don't stop eating, eat lots of small meals, and eat healthy, cardio is the best fat burner, and if you can't do cardio, then just go for a jog, running up and down the stair will give you nice legs, and if your lazy like I am, and enjoy eating food and watching tv, I find if you brush your eat, you don't want to eat, because of the minty flavor, and while you watch tv, or play on the computer, suck your stomach in, hold it in for 5 seconds, and let it out for 3, and just keep doing that. Crunches are great, but don't just do as many as your can at once, do 4 sets or 25 crunches, it's more affective (and your can do crunches while you watch tv too) Good Luck

Ambitious goal, but not impossible. You have to break some bad habits, which will be difficult to do on a continuing basis.
1. Get rid of sugar, carbs, salt and animal fat from your diet as much as possible ... i.e. no junk food. Read the nutrition label.
2. Exercise more, even if its a walk. 10,000 steps per day, minimum.
3. Realize to lose that much weight in two months is going to take effort and you may not succeed in reaching your goal. Keep trying.
4. Make it a competition, challenge a family member or friend.
Good luck.

well i have a 9 year old and a 10 year old who are both over weight. as of now they are both on diets first you have to learn the difference between portion sizes and serving sizes i highly suggest eating serving sizes for example the serving size is always on the back of the food package like for example oreo cookies on the back of the package it will tell you the serving size is 3 cookies so all you need to eat is 3 i know that is hard but it will work and being that you are 14 when you go out for pizza with youre friends try to eat only 2 slices it will be tough but it is working on my children . you may want to talk to youre mother about letting you take a dietary supplement there are some you can buy on the counter at nearly every gas station they are called stacker 2 they work wonders and they work fast the secret to them is they give you energy to stay very active so if youre mother approves and lets you take them make sure you have plenty to do like jogging , grass cutting. try this it should work and if you choose the diet you need to stick to it because it gets real hard to breath if you are over weight

your 14 i would suggest getting into a sport or going for a run after school or when you first wake and you might consider changing your diet a bit...up.your still growing so you dont want to avoid sertin foods.. you still need milk,go for skim milk in your cearel insted of 2% and you need protiens ..a good rule of thumb for losing some lbs is look at the fat content in the things you eat.. if it says that its over 30% of the calories dont eat it..if its under than its good.try to only eat about 40-45 fat grams aday.. avoid regular pop.it has tons of cals, diet pop is ok. and dont eat fast food..i hope this helps some

try eating at least 2 fruits a day.. eat salad (tomato, lettuce, broccoli, carrot) on lunch and dinner.. for breaktfaste eat 2 slices of wheat bread and a glass of milk.. for lunch you can have fish, chicken or meat grilled with your salad (and a corn if you'd like).. at about 6 eat one of your 2 fruits (the other one you can eat it maybe at school) and then for dinner you can have the same you had at lunch.. exercising is very good.. some cardio or riding a bike.. if you can't then do crunches.. good luck..
