NO and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!!!
People will swear by alcohol, olive oil, vinegar, and a million other things- it's BS!!
Ear infections are caused by yeast or ear mites, the vet will have figured out which one caused your dog's infection and gave you medicine that kills whatever it is. You should also have gotten ear wash for the dog, if you haven't, go to a pet store or back to the vet and purchase ear wash. Flush the dog's ears out thoroughly and wipe them out with a cotton ball until they are clean and dry, and then apply the medication your vet gave you. Do not do ANYTHING else no matter what anyone says! You'll only make it worse.
And never, EVER put water anywhere NEAR a dog's ear- that is the number one cause of ear infections to start with!!

There are several causes of ear infections in dogs. They should be properly diagnosed and treated with the correct medication and ear cleaners. Using peroxide, alcohol or vinegar solutions may cause more harm than good. If your dog has a ruptured ear drum, which is common with ear infections, then you could do permanent damage to the middle ear.

Sorry to hear about your dog's ears, I don't know any home remedies. But I have many dogs and I got some medicine from the Vet. " Below is the Remedy"
Veterinary use
Combined with Marbofloxacin and Clotrimazol, dexamethasone is availableunder the name Aurizon , CAS number 115550-35-1, and used to treatdifficult ear infections, especially in dogs.

Stick with what the vet gave you to help her ear infection. You don't want to try a "home remedy" on a dog and have it interact with her current meds. Stay away from any ear cleaning solution with alcohol until her ear clears up or it will burn her ear. Using hydrogen peroxide isn't good either. If you're not happy with what the vet gave you ask for something else or take your dog to a different vet and get their opinion. I have a Newfoundland and she has chronic ear problems because she has floppy ears and the one vet gave us ear drops, which are hard to put in a 120lb dog who doesn't want you messing with her ears. We took her somewhere else and they have her a antibiotic shot, along with pills and ear cream to clear up her infection.

You are better off just using the medication the vet gave you, then using something to prevent reoccurences. Your vet can give you a gentle ear cleaner and instruct you how often to use it. If you are finding your dog has recurring infections, then try Blue Power ear treatment.

i treat ear infections every day. Like all the other smart people, take your veterinarian's directions and medications. Doing it yourself will only make it worse and the last thing you want for your pet are chronic ear infections.
