My twin girls shared a crib until they were 4ms old, then we got 2 cribs. We put them next to each other for a couple of weeks, then on opposites of the crib and it worked out fine. If you do that, they're no where near each other and don't have a chance at scatching each other. A few people told me that i should have had 2 cribs from the beginning because each baby needed their own space. They just spent the last 8ms right on top of each other, a few days in the same crib at the hospital and they're infants. How much sleeping space did they really need at that point?
I'd put them in the same crib.
Best wishes

When I had my twins I swore that I would only let mine sleep in the same crib for the recommeded 3 months...well they are 7 months old and I have no intention of moving them any time soon! They sleep the whole night through, and they even give me extra rest time because when they wake up in the morning, they play with eachother! They give eachother soo much comfort, why take that away from them?? They wont be able to fit TOO much longer, but as long as they do...I will leave them in the same crib

yes in the hospital they'll sometimes put them in the same bed or whatever you want to call it. its called co cribbing for the first 6 months or so keep them into the same crib and then seperate them. it makes them more confortable. there surrounded with thing that they don't know. they know there own there twin. and it conforts them to know its there.

Well in the beginning you may think that because they are so small they would both fit but realistically they will not be awake and sleep at the exact same time so why have one be woken up with the other crying if you don't have to. Also they will get bigger and then they just won't fit.

My sister-in-law has twin boys..When they were babies, they shared a crib..
They would scratch each other all the time..They constantly had sores on their faces from it..So I wouldn't recommend it..

I think it's okay when they are tiny. But when they get around 5 months they should have their own space. They are growing, rolling and limbs will be flying everywhere.

Why not? They shared a womb for nine months!
When they get bigger, separate them, but I don't see any problem with having them together in the first few months.

I would think so. They were in the womb together for all that time I think they would be more comfortable together. If I had twins I would have them together....

when they are tiny I can't see a problem. But bigger and older they need to have their own space
