The Bible says that every person born has the knowledge of God within them....even before I was filled with the Holy Spirit or had met Jesus, I took that to mean that our conscience was the still quiet voice of God, our Father...

I think that a part of conscience is learned. After you learn what is right and wrong from you part of society, you begin to feel guilty about violating that list of behavioral priorities. In essence, you conscience teaches you to say, " No" to yourself.

Its our inner moral compass, our conscience is our sense of right and wrong, our moral fiber, now , the right and wrong that makes up our conscience is a matter of choice and a matter of the way we are brought up, some things are taught to us and some things we teach ourselves.

It is called our Soul. The connection to knowing right from wrong. The connection to God the Father. And the Holy Spirit within us.

The Holy Spirit inside of us letting us know , what to say and do and we so often ignore the still tiny voice trying to keep us from doing the wrong thing.

That is the voice inside our heads or hearts that lets us know in no uncertain terms that sometimes when we do something it is not always right. And other times it lets us know if it is....
