Honestly? It's not that great of a song. I think everyone agreed it was the best ever just so we wouldn't have to talk about it anymore (like Hemingway, thank God.) I love Zep, but I can skip Stairway. II and III are my rod and staff.

A slightly pretentious but also quite interesting song which is worth listening to every now and then.

Great song but not my favorite from Led Zeppelin. I perfer Led Zeppelin's song about Valhalla (Immigrant Song) or Dancin Days.
