I do. Mainly because of the verse in 1st Thessalonians, 4:17, that speaks of us being "caught up in the air to meet the Lord in the clouds". This is different from the second coming, as at the second coming of Jesus Christ, He will actually descend to earth and place His foot on the mount of Olives.

Also in Revelation, Jesus is speaking to the church of Philadelphia, saying that because they have "kept His word", He will keep them from the "coming tribulation that will try the earth". I believe He is speaking to those churches that stand on the word of God....and do not compromise it. As we know....there are many churches that are doing alot of compromising in these last days.

No and with good reason.

Christianity is 2,000 years old. The story of the Rapture is actually quite new. Never before, in all of Christiandom where such an idea even heard of.

Just 700 years ago, if you could preach about the Rapture the Church would most likely imprison and torture you as a Pagan.

FIRST of all, the word 'rapture' isn't found anywhere in the bible.

What's in the bible is this:

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first;

then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words. "

The Christians which are alive and left shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

This is what they might be referring to as 'rapture', but again the word 'rapture' is not in the bible.

Now, you're asking whether this will happen? Of course. All prophecies and the words of God in the bible shall come to pass.

Luke 1:37

"For no word from God shall be void of power. "

If by the "rapture" you mean the pre-tribulation snatching away of true believers, distinct from Christ's second coming, then no -- I do not. It is a dispensationalist term and contrary to Catholic teaching. I do not mean to disparage other Christians who do subscribe to this, though. By its very nature, the book of Revelation is open to debate right up until the time of fulfillment, and if anyone claims to know when that will be -- well, I wouldn't advise making book on it. So to speak.

I believe the church will be taken in the end times but my belief is not like these "Left Behind" movies or the stuff you see in these religious stations. I believe when the Christians leave there won't be anybody left behind. It will be the end of everything. Does that sound crazy? What is more crazy, believing that only a "select few" and gonna be "wisked away" and everybody else will be left behind in a one world comunism ruled by the worst man ever in the history of mankind? of believing that when God desides to finally destroy the world he is gonna take His Believers out and destroy the world in the same time?

Yes I absolutely believe in the rapture of the church, as it is in the Bible, and I dont doubt what God tells us. What He says, settles it for us Christians. we believe it and tahts it. we dont compromise on the Gospel . or just believe what we want to believe. Its all truth. I could tell you all the scriptures, but you know what, they only mock them. If somene wants to truly know truth and are ready to accept it, they will get a Bible and find out for themselves. They get us to do it all on here, and they they use it to slam us. I dont have time. I will look things up for those genuinley searching.
God bless you. Great question, again.... God bless you.

Not the pre-trib rapture. It's unbiblical and aint going to happen. But I believe in the post-trib rapture.

yes

The bible is clear that Jesus is going to return when the world isn't ready (The "world" is growing in opposition to Jesus and christianity).

Yes. It is the clear teaching of Scripture.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord.

I believe that when Jesus comes again He will send out his Holy Angels to gather together all of the elect believers who will meet with Him in the air before the wrath of God is poured out on all of the rest of the people because that's what Jesus said.

Matthew 24:29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

John 6:40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day."

Revelation 10:5 And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven 6 and swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it, that there would be no more delay, 7 but that in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of God would be fulfilled, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.

Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever."

16 And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying, "We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, who is and who was, for you have taken your great power and begun to reign. 18 The nations raged, but your wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged, and for rewarding your servants, the prophets and saints, and those who fear your name, both small and great, and for destroying the destroyers of the earth."
