What was the single turning point that changed your mind and showed you that JWs hold the truth? Just one thing please, I don't need novels and advertisements for the Watchtower.

I hope this isn't too long, I was raised Catholic in Catholic Schools. Female, and was abused by a priest! My dad a Cop when I approached him did nothing! I came from St. Patrick's Parish in Stoneham Massachusetts!
First Parish for the infamous Fr. Shanley and Fr. Smith.
After High school I ran as far and as fast as I could! Into a bad marriage just to escape.
When I started to have kids, I needed them to know GOD is GOOD even if Humans su(K . So I started with bible schools and summer camps! Then one day while I was doing my daily bible reading, the witnesses knocked, offered a bible study and I accepted.
IT TOOK 10 YEARS for me to trust them, because of my childhood and be baptized, now I have been Baptized for 10 years with NO doubts about Bible truths!

The truth of God's word the bible.

When I mentioned I was studying with JWs, a workmate gave me a pamplet.

"What does the bible teach" by the Moody Publishing Co.

It had four columns,

'Bible teaching'

'JW teaching'

'Mormon teaching'

'Scriptures of proof'

When I looked up the scriptures and read them in context, they proved the JWs were correct. Except one.

This verse didn't prove any of the three beliefs.

The other point is they have the love Jesus said would identify his true followers.

I've experienced from Washington State, to New York State,
from the US to Mexico.

For me, it was learning that the Bible has a theme. I will try to make this as short and simple as possible.

Genesis begins by telling us how Jehovah created the Earth. His original purpose was for the Earth to be a paradise filled with perfect humans. Jehovah only had one law for them to obey, "don't eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and bad" Adam and Eve chose to listen to Satan and rebel, which challenged Jehovah's sovereignty and also challenged his good name by calling Jehovah a liar(Satan told Eve she would not die if she ate the fruit, Jehovah said they would die) .

The rest of the Bible explains the plans Jehovah has made to restore the Earth to a paradise by means of his Kingdom. The king of this kingdom is Jesus and he will get rid of Satan and those who choose to follow him. This will vindicate Jehovah's name and his sovereignty. Then once again, the Earth will be restored to a paradise.

Genesis to Revelation in one paragraph, paradise lost, to paradise regained.

Because their philosophy of life really "makes sense" compared to other religions.
