Some Christians do. Some English guy used the Bible to determine the age of the earth and got that number. But he only went back to Adam and Eve so could that actually be the origin of civilization? Hmmm....
Personally, I think that the whole age of the world debate is a waste of time. The past is over, and the future is coming. Let's move on. The End of Days is far more interesting.

We do? I missed the memo. Stop generalizing all Christians. Not all of us believe the world was created 6000 years ago, that is a branch off group known as creationists.

Do you have a picture of the potatoes with the newspaper from 8000 years ago to prove the date?
Any proof?
Thought not.

yes... someone is crazy. And the idea of the 6000 year old earth has been debunked, although there are some who still hold to it for some strange reason.

Makes perfect sense. 8000 years ago: potatoes. 7000 years ago glue was invented. Obviously God used the shape of our potatoes and the glue we invented, when He created this planet.

There's porn in French cave paintings that's 35,000 years old. That's older than Hugh Hefner!

I think we all know that the world is 4.5 billion years old - YECs are just being stubbornly pedantic.
