Can you plug in a portable dvd player and car fridge at the same time?

Thanks

You can, but if you're using it for a car fridge make sure you get a heavy-duty one. Most of them I've seen are designed for cell-phone chargers and other low-current devices; using it with something like a car fridge might cause it to overheat unless it's designed to handle the power.

Another option would be to have a second cigarette lighter outlet installed into the vehicle, with a direct connection to the battery (especially if your existing outlet switches on and off with the key).

Yep. Look at Walmart, Kmart, Target, Bestbuy, Circuit City, Checker Auto, Autozone, one of these should have an adapter.

Yes, saw some yesterday at Canadian Tire (so any auto parts place just about anywhere). They had them from 2-4 plugs.
