In many places, Jesus is called the Word of God. Incarnate means to Make human, so Jesus is the Word Incarnate

A few verses may clarify that:
John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
John 1:14 "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
Php 2:
5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross!

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
John 1:1-5 NKJV
Jesus was the Word.

It's saying that God is found in the literal word. What it basically means is to take the meaning of words seriously because they contain the essence of knowledge. However this of course leads to indoctrination so be careful.

It means that Gods word literally became flesh and walked among us so that we could have salvation with out the shedding of blood any more after His blood was shed.
