Yes, Christ died for our sins.
Yes, Jesus is God's only BEGOTTEN Son.
Yes, God is supreme, all powerful and all knowing. He is the ONLY God we worship.
As far as only one God in the universe, I don't know. But if there are, none of them come before our God.
The words of Jesus in the Bible are what the writers of the Bible remembered, and I give the benefit of the doubt to the translaters.
The trinity-one and the same....what?
A Christian is a person who believes, believes in, and follows Jesus Christ. Period. Anything else is exclusionary, and says more about you than it does about us. So, basically, a Christian is anyone who's beliefs you can condone. Of all of your questions, only 1 and 2 need an affirmative answer to be considered a Christian.

Some Mormons may be Christian, but the Mormon doctrine is not. It flies in the face of Christianity and makes Jesus out to be a liar.
Yes, they believe Jesus died for our sins. BUT they believe that the major part of the atonement took part in the Garden of Gethsemane and not on the Cross.
No, they believe that all of us are God's children ,that our spirits are conceived in the world where God dwells will one of his wives. Christians believe Jesus is God's only begotten son, and only after you have born-again and excepted Jesus, then you become a child of God.
No, They believe that God needs matter unorganized to create something. Their God is an exalted man, who lived on a world like earth, did good deeds, and earned his godhood.
Christians believe God is the only God, that he has always existed. He can speak things into existence.
They don't trust the Bible. Their 8th Article of Faith says that they trust the Bible as far as it's translated correctly. Meaning they believe the Bible is corrupt and full of errors.

"...this is what a Christian is."
Well, everyone's definition of a Christian is different, so I can't speak on your behalf.
I can only speak for myself.
I am a Christian because I believe in Jesus Christ. I accept him as the Lord and Savior, and the Redeemer. I believe that his sacrifice has given us the opportunity for Eternal Life. I believe that he is the ONLY Begotten Son of God. I strive to be like him in my everyday life. To me, that's Christian.
But like I said, everyone's definition is different. Your definition includes the acceptance of the Trinity doctrine (although the official doctrine of the Trinity isn't mentioned in the Bible), and mine doesn't. People tend to put many restrictions and guidelines on who a Christian is and who is not.
All I ask is that we can respect each other. If I believe I am a Christian, then I hope people can respect that.

Alma 24:10 And I also thank my God, yea, my great God, that he hath granted unto us that we might repent of these things, and also that he hath forgiven us of those our many sins and murders which we have committed, and taken away the guilt from our hearts, through the merits of his Son.
At Baptism I made a covenant to take upon myself the name of Christ, to always remeber Him and to keep His commandments.
Galatians 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
8 Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

this is somewhat of a lame definition of a "christian" imo. even if mormons did believe all of those things, you'd just find something else that you believe and they didn't to exclude them. quit shaping the definition to where it only fits what you believe.
mormons believe in jesus christ, and they are christian. my best friend for my entire life is a mormon, and he's more a follower of christ than anyone i have ever met before.

Almost, but we believe that God Jesus and the Holy Spirit are 3 seperate bodies. And Jesus AND Satan are both His son's, even though Satan was kicked out of Heaven. Please check out www.lds.org!!

Mormons will tell you that they are Christian.
Because that is what their leaders tell them.
But the Catholic, Orthodox, & Mainline Protestants,
will tell you that they do not recognize them as such.
All of us accept each others baptised members;
as in the case where somebody transfers church.
Mormons do not understand Jesus or the Trinity.

Actually, I thought being a Christian meant believing Christ is your savior and following his teachings (i.e. not judging others.)
They are Christians.

As an ex-mormon, I can say that the God Mormons believe in is not the same god as other Gods.
Not that it matters.
