I bench 55 pounds and I can do about 8-9 reps before I get tired and I stop at about 10 reps. I am worried because I get tired before I feel any burn...which I don't feel a burn. Why is it that I don't feel a burn?

the burn means nothing in terms of increasing strength, it is the result of anaerobic glycolysis and should not be used to judge the effectiveness of a training session.

to increase your strength you need to use progressively higher weights. when you can perform 2 working sets (these are the sets after warming up) for 8-10 good reps then it's time to increase your training loads by 10%.

really unless u are tall right now... as tall as you want to get then u shldnt bench weihgts right now...lifting weights stunts ur growth... u shld start benching once u are at ur full height and you arent gonna grow much taller or u dont want to...
GOOD LUCK!
