I have ADHD and I constantly jump from thought to thought. Something I have found that helps me get through the day is to have a routine and I journal. By writing, I can go back and read what I've written and sometimes it jogs my memory as to something I've forgotten. Hope this helps.

Yes, I do! I try to write a note or I use my planner to plan my day out. I usually get 1/2-3/4 of my goals accomplished that way. I still feel flustered and feel like I am in a dream-like state at times. It's pretty annoying.

I jump from thought to thought, too, and take Trazadone to allow me to sleep. If it's something that thoroughly enchants me, I can concentrate for hours but the minute it becomes boring or frustrating, I'm gone. I try to stick to friends, jobs, and relationships where I don't have to do the same old thing over and over again.

I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 6 years old, so i've been dealing with it my whole life.

I recently started taking strattera, and in my humble opinion, it works. It helps me to slow down and organize my thoughts. It also helps me sleep better by quieting my thoughts and letting me rest.

Make an appointment with your doctor to get diagnosed and see if it's right for you.
