I've been lifting weights every other day for a few months now and I'm no longer sore the following day even though I continue to work out hard and push myself. Would it be counter-productive to work out every morning as long as I'm not hurting from the last session? Do I still need that day of rest even if I feel recovered? I don't want to overdo it but I'd like to train as hard as possible. Plus, I'm currently in Iraq and I have nothing else to do with my free time - haha. Any advice I receive will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

You should rotate the muscle groups you are using (if you lift every day) this will give more recovery time. You want to avoid overtraining as this will only reduce your results

Yes it is normal that you are not sore anymore, your body is getting use to the hard work and not the muscles are familiar with being worked out! No you shouldn't work out every morning... i say 4 days a week any days you pick. Your body may feel great but it still needs the rest. If you continually , work out for months and months, you will need a week or 2 for you body to rest so you can reach a peak when are start to lift again. You will be amazed on how much you lift after that rest.

If you dont get sore the next day, your probably not pushing hard enough. You shouldnt expect to get sore the next day everytime, but it should happen. If you are working out very hard and dont get sore, you need to change what your doing for those muscles.

You can workout 6 days a week, but dont do the muscle groups that you worked on the day before.

If you want to work out every day, the recommended way to do that is to work the upper body one day and the lower body the next. That way you still get the rest necessary and also get the good feelings from working out everyday.

You should take a day off between weight workouts. It is real hard to make gains with daily workouts.
