I like to believe that I am a slender person, but my tummy makes me look (from the side profile) that I could be 3-4months pregnant...(and am not!!!) It has been like this forever....my staple diet is rice and curry of the day...Also, my body needs a bit of toning up...What do I do to achieve a flat tummy and a toned up body? Are there any exercises that I can do? And what about my diet? Do I need to change it?? Please Help.

You can't spot reduce by doing crunches alone. You have to change your diet immensly and increase your cardio. If I were you cut the rice or the portion rice is very high white startch. Increas your fiber and your protein this will help you fill fuller longer. When choosing to eat carbs eat brown rice, oatmeal sweet potatos. Stay away from white sugars if you must eat then in moderation.

I agree with Joy a but in addition u shouldn't ever restrict calories or carbs or anything else that's natural in food that ur acustomed to eatin cuz all you'll do is lose water weight which will come right back. just take how much you already eat and break it up in to smaller meals throughout the day. (5 equal proportioned meals a day at least 3 hours apart is ideal from women). eating in smaller portions works wonders on your metabolism. but she was right about stayin away from sugar it's baaaaaad 4 u. as 4 your abs while doi crunches will help u need to do a variety of ab excersises to target ur abs from all angles

This is my ab workout
4 1min set of planks with 45 sec breaks inbetween
4 1min set of Sideplanks (2 each side) with 45 sec breaks inbetween
100 crunches
3 30 sec sets of six inches with 30 sec breaks
100 side crunches (50 each side)

get urself a stopwatch and keep trying to get your break time down cuz the shorter breaks are the more intense the workouts are.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ABS!! do crutches, 4 sets of 100. It sounds hard but is actually very easy, i do it every day! You first do 4 sets of 25, to equal 100.... then take a break and do 4 more sets of 25 (so on for two more times after that!)

Yes the exercise they don't want you to know,is called sex and the more you do it the flatter your stomach will become. So I suggest that you come over for at least 6 days out of each and every week for probably 5yrs. or so and we'll fix you right up.

Actually you can do it fairly easily, although it will take some time. All you really need to do is a series of push ups and squats every day. You don't need to even use any weights.

Try doing sit-ups or crunches. Push-ups can also help with upper-body strength.
