Ask to meet at a common meeting area, like the movies or a restaurant (nothing too fancy!), even church!...you meet each other there, don't pick the other up or anything. GREAT WAY to get things started and to take a first step. And if the guy is interested, who won't mind at all, he may very well be relieved!!

That might save a lot of trouble for the guy you wanna ask. Theres nothing wrong with it, sometimes guys feel like jackasses when we ask a girl out...lol. If it was me, I'd take it in the best way possible. Go for it, if you feel that theres something between you 2. good luck. ^_^
